I am not having a good day...

Firstly, Firefox has crashed at least a dozen times this morning, I've tried reloading it, updating plug in, disabling plug ins, enabling plug ins and screaming at the laptop, all to no avail. So having wasted a lot of time on trying to get that working, I'm using IE...which has only crashed once [B)]

Then, while washing the dishes a glass broke and I sliced my fingers [xx(] Who would have thought the webgoddess had so much blood in her?[:0][:0] Once I'd pulled the deeply embedded shard of glass out of my little finger it got better [;)]

Then there is Sophy [:I] Sophy has looked ready to calve for days, we (the royal we) have a very tight udder, we have gleamings (goop) we have discomfort. What we don't have is labour. However, as we are on top of a very exposed hill and the weather is getting really nasty, I'm sure she'll get around to it soon...or she may hold on for night to fall to add to my woes.

The wood for the wood burner is soaking wet (as is everything else on the property) and the cats seem to be trying to kill each other, or have devised a strange new game that involves all three of them dashing from room to room in a bundle while hissing and yelping loudly.

It's a long way 'til wine o'clock....

give the cats an extra feed and tell them to all go to their beds.. I have to do that to the 5 at times!! thats what they do while the earth quivers, or a bad storm is coming.
sorry about the fingers and fully agree you need a wine clock

I've joined in tearing around the house with the cats...well, after the cats actually. One of whom took time out to pop outside, catch a bird and bring it in for me. Alive. So we all ran around the house, me trying to rescue the bird, until the cat escaped through the cat flap and into the middle of a flax. Followed by her siblings.

Deep breath in, deep breath out. Deep breath in, deep breath out. Deep breath in.........

Thinking of you Kate. :D

Not cats but if my three wee dogs are left in the house for a few hours, it turns to bedlam when I get home with the who can run the fastest game (with lots of yelping!) inside the house, over the lounge suite that they are not allowed on and so it goes on for what seems like hours. I even have to get out of the way it is all so crazy and worst of all,all the doors are open with me yelling "Outside you lot" which needless to say is totally ignored![}:)]

Oh dear, not a good day.
To save you crossing the line, give the cats the wine, they never know what time of day it is anyway, and keep a clear head to gently pick up the laptop and hurl it through the nearest open window, or at the next cat to pass you. [}:)]

Here's to cheer you, a brand new kid and L going over and above the normal.....

Looks a bit like dirt box training to me....

11 acres (4 in QEII Covenanted native bush), 15 sheep, 2 beefies, large vege gardens and a goat, and still no dog!:(

Oh, and uncountable wild birds - including fantails, swallows, yellowhammers, morepork, magpies, hawks, pukekos, and even quaill, pheasants and rainbow lorikeets [:D][:D] Not to mention possums, hares, rabbits, rats...
