If you think you dont have your full quota or that being a farmer means that you have missed out on what is going on in life/world check this out!!
Of course if you have the teenager that thinks their parent is also a dumbo, then see if they can answer these as well[}:)]
[seems it gets removed often as its an embarrassment]

When I travelled to the States and Canada, the usual response was "Nu Zeeland?" Where is that? Followed by the educated "Oh yeah. Tell me how long that bridge is?" " "What bridge?" You know - the one between Ostralia and Nu Zeeland"?

Mind we can take the p##s out of them when the real question would be how many of our own could answer those questions?

One of the good things I've noticed about NZ is that those of us who care to watch TV or listen to the radio, get a really good coverage of world news and are therefore pretty well informed. I don't know if it is because we are a small country compared to many others, that our world news is better and local news is smaller due to NZ size. I was in the USA during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and due to the US stand against that, the Olympic games in Moscow, got absolutely no news coverage. Talk about an international blackout! We had to ring home for news about how the athletes were going.

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S
