Help - seal on oven door falling off

The seal on my built-in oven door has come adrift [] What do I do? Can I fix it myself? Do I need an expert? What sort of expert? Do I have to eat out forever?[}]

Got a bungey cord? That's what they use on fridge doors in student flats!

Kate have a close look at it some just come out of the slot and can be eased back in , try not to stretch it. Some split and leave part in the groove and need to be replaced. Some have a metal beading that holds it in place and may need to be removed, seal reinserted and bead put back. Take your pick, good luck

get Geoff on the fishing and hunter-gatherring thing , and have a good cooking fire going

Thanks but the oven front is as smooth as a baby's bottom [][] It seems to have been just stuck on...

Stu, if you had any idea of the foul weather we're having right now you wouldn't suggest that. No-one could light a fire in this rain. Unless you meant indoors?
