Got to skite - sorry.

Had a lesson last week with a lady who really knows her stuff when it comes to websites and associated things. My web guy currently lives off shore and it seems silly to get him to do trivial stuff, if I can learn to do it myself.

She showed me how to access and change things on my website.

I am really chuffed that I have managed to make some very simple, but very necessary changes to my website all by myself.

For someone who has the odd bit of trouble navigating round and getting my head around some of this techy stuff :rolleyes:, I am just so thrilled to bits at my achievements. Have had 2 goes at it so far and tidied up a heap of stuff.

Have never really had the time to look into how it works before and with the upcoming GST increase, was going to have to pay our web guy to make the necessary changes for me. Now I can do them all myself [^][^]

Once I get a bit more confident with what I am doing, I may even tackle adding new photos and stuff, but at this stage, its baby steps.

I know several of you run your own websites and are very savvy when it comes to this stuff, but until now, I have had to get my web guy to make any changes.

Well done. It's a great feeling when you can get the computer to do things you couldn't do before. It'll be great to be able to do your own additiions and alterations.

Yes, sod, it scared the bejesus out of me at the thought of it too. But I bit the bullet and went and had a lesson, so thought I may as well give it a go and very pleased I did.

When I have a bit more time, I will try some other stuff, but for now, am very pleased with myself with the results of my efforts [^][^]
