I've just heard that after a lot of pressure, the BBC has reversed this decision. Fairytale of New York is the best Christmas song ever and I've been playing it for weeks :D

It's a great song and the lyrics are in context. It is very clever.

Personally, I hate the word faggot as a reference to homosexual people, it offends me a lot. It depends on the context I suppose, like a lot of words.
