I cannot enter any competitions in the newsletter. :( If I click on the link it gives me an error and wants me to install Outlook (?) which I'm not sure I can do as we are running Windows 98 on an old computer (I need to talk to DH about this).

I often cannot use our dial up system for the usual reasons (crap telecom dialup and we cant get broadband[:(!]). So we go into town to the free library broadband and I have the same problem - clicking on the link to enter a draw simply brings up a deault email which I need to register for BUT I cant register as it says that it wont accept any further registrations on that day from that user....

Cant you just show an email address to email details for draws to??

had another go - when I click on the link I get the following message - either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fufill messaging request. Please run Mircrosoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

If i click on OK at this stage it tells me it was unable to send the mail

Right click on the link, and select "save link locations as" or similar message. Go to your Hotmail or Xtra or whatever your email is, select "New Mail" and paste the link to the "to" bar.

ALL my email is online, and I have no default email set up on the computer either, my emails never leave the web server unless I manually download the contents. So I'm used to what you describe.

You could set up Outlook on your computer to mirror your web based emails with SMPT and POP3 and all the rest of the jazz, but it's easiest to just use cut n paste or rightclick, save and paste.
