Oooops, sorry guys but I have big lack of motivation and I am so low on energy.

I have had a buyer on my house since december last year but they can not sell their house. I have waited for them such a long time. They are now to leave contract now end of july since their house cant be sold. I have waited so long for them and nothing...............
There have been another family that has gone thru the house and they told straight out to my real estate guy that they are to put a low-low bid on the house but wait a couple of months to get me more tender,,they know I have lost husband and know that I want to leave!
so naughty people,,they want house but dont even tell how much they are to bid!
Found another real estate person that told me to drop price 75.000! and then he might sell it and get 12.000 dollars in comision aswell. He told that he compared to another sell in the area where they had to drop their price to get it sold and that he would not sell unles I dropped to 75 less!
I have done my homework and the house he talks about has sold ABOVE governmental value and they had a too high asking price from the beginning and dropped down,,but still sold above governmental value!!!
,,this real estate guy wants me to drop 75.000 under governmental value!

the other house he compares with was totally smoked in by cigarettes and not touched since 1960 and fake bricks and half the land area and less garage and no shed and also a very bad position with hoons driving by house every weekend, burnouts in street!!

mine is a diamond compared to this and he says drop price 75! yes he might want a fast and easy sale with no work from his side.[}:)]

House he compares with was advertised for 375k, sold for 350k, and gv was 345k.
My house is advertised 320k, gv is 335k. and heaps of chattels, check ad here on classifieds.

My dad calls me every week and cries on the phone wondering if I am ever to come home and while he still is alive.
My eldest son thinks I am not trying to sell and he and his wife deleted me from facebok!! so I deleted myself aswell.
Things fall apart around me.lawn mower and car,,have not mowed the lawn for months and my car has a cost of repair that is a months pay!

One good news is that I met a guy during my vacation that I have known for a long time and we did kind of click,,,[:I]
he says he is to wait for me to sell and come home,,
this makes me happy but also very depressed thinking that I will never ever make it... :( :)
dunno how long time he will wait for me and if I am to come alive out of this,,,

Ooh, Hestia. Naughty real estate agents! I'm sure they want a quick sale just to get some money coming in. Be wary and don't give in!

I don't know where you are, but if you were handy to me I would come & mow your lawns for you! They're not growing much at the moment so would stay looking good for a while.

Best wishes with everything. I'm sure the light in the tunnel will shine soon!

Not wanting to pry but are you listing your house solely through agent or can you list privately ? I still feel that selling privately is great and last time it wasn't anymore work that selling through agent. You still have to keep you place looking good for agents and the only difference was we ran the open homes. Got the price wanted, no agent commission and no hassles.

Again, not knowing where you are would renting your house out and moving on be an option. If the real estate agents offer a reputable property management scheme that could be an option

Good luck

Brave Words. I've heard them before from thousands of species across thousands of worlds, since long before you were created, but now, they are all Borg.

I had it with same agent for many months, thought the people that signed contract would sell their house and buy mine, could not dream of that they would have a house up in auckland still unsold after 6 months. I am not exclusive with any agent at the moment.
I cant just rent it out since that would just cover my mortgage and it would not help me since I need the money to get a ticket home and also I would not have any work so I need to be able to pay rent or food for at least a couple of months.(my dad lives in a retirement home so cant stay with him)

hestia I have Pm'd you just now.... similar ideas though to what is mentioned.

You mentioned your ticket home and food etc, do you have any stock you can sell to pay for these things? have you listed the house on trademe? That is where we listed our village one, had more interest from trademe than through the two agents we also mentioned the house to.

One agent went out of her way to assist and list the house, the other just ignored us.

However you can also list your house on sella, its a website similar to TM but doesn't charge an initial fee like TM does. worth checking out....

If you can get back home, are you entitled to any govt support to get you on your feet? surely you are entitled to some assistance until you can get a job etc.

I have to say I also refused contact via facebook from a family member on my Hubby's adoptive side.

Many reasons behind this (two being abused by her in past years unnecessarily) but i didn't just want to become a ''friend'' number for this person when in realtity I don't hear from her unless she wants something.

Not long after I also decided to remove my facebook page as I realised the security wasn't great for that website and that her friends (and family) could see my profile and my conversations with my UK cousins who were primarily the ones I set it up for..... might be ok for some, but in this case that side of the family have sucked information out of my inlaws to know what we were doing in Aussie and then use it to gain benefit from.

there are however a lot of people just worried about the security of facebook these days that it might be sheer co incidence that this has occured at the same time for you and yours.

keep strong, and keep warm. Spring is just around the corner!

I have tried to sell off bits and pieces on TM but no one buys, seems TM is full of people selling everything they have.
I had the house listed on TM and they did "screw" me!
I had a ad with all "bells and whsitles",,thought it looked bad with 6.000 viewers,,none come to view thru the ad but llokes as if many had been thru and not wanted. I called TM and asked if they could screw the visitors number down to zero. I was told to take listing down and put it back instantly and no cost. I did so and they charged me full price. I did call and say the name of the TM emplyee that told it was ok and was told to pay or,,,so that ad is gone,,they did not even listen when I told that I had a ad and was advised to take it down and up again. I did cal their pay line every time and they just screwed me on those 3-400 dollars!

no, I have nothing to sell.
The house sold would make me have tickets and gone.
I would have suport from a large amount of people that I have known for years, I would get help with food and to get set up. I know that people wil come running with things to eat and spare furniture.
