I hope I am not speaking out of turn here, but I believe that a certain Kozi Toez Has done exceedingly well at the Rural Womens gathering.

But congratulations are in order anyway. I well remember talking to Jan years ago just as she was about to go into this and at that stage it was unchartered waters. A big leap into the unknown and it's worked out.

If there is more kudos attached to it, it will have been well deserved.

It's just that I am sure I heard that Kozi Toez was fairly high up in the Rural Womens business of the year competion or something. I hear the mention on the Farming Show the other day. I really hope I did hear right. But I did say, ARE congratulations in order?

Kate, I rarely clear anything up for anybody, including myself and I'm working on assumption here which is always a dangerous thing to do. Jan is Kozi Toez and she and Ronnie took an idea, some munky possum skins and a sewing machine and turned an idea into a reality. IF Jack heard it right, it would seem that maybe she/they are to get some recognition and that's all good. If not, in my mind they still deserve recognition for taking the punt (and the risk) and making it work.

Hmmmmmm, nothing that I am aware of, but with being so busy at present, I may have missed something.

I would suspect it to be the Cosy Toes (other spelling) who make kids socks out of merino wool perhaps?????

Well whether it is "our" kozitoez or the other one, Jan's slippers are number 1 tops in my book! Which reminds me I need to place another order....

I'll second the vote on them being the top slippers. I've had mine a year now and they're as warm and comforable as the day they arrived. By now, with buying cheap slippers, I'd have gone through 2 pairs easily as the seems and stitching gives up and the padding gives way leaving you cold and uncomfortable!

These fit like a glove and keep me warmer than any i've had before and they look great too!

Bugger!

I gone done it again, opened me big fat mouth without knowing what I am talking about.

What happened was that I heard on the Farming Show that Cosey Toes/Cozi Toes/Cosy Toes/kozitoez or whatever and didn't know there was more than one business or even spelling, and Jamie Mackay was saying that it had won the Rural business woman for the South Island of the year or whatever it is in the Rural Womens national conference in Oamaru, and that the final would be judged later in the confrence.

So sorry, but because I was not absolutely certain about it, that is why I posted here with the ?

That's alright Jack - Thank you for thinking of us. I know it can be confusing with the same name but different spelling. The name really suits both of us, with what we are making.

i have some Kozitoes inner soles ( thanks jan ) and they work a treat
lovely warm feet and dont slip in my boots
