Kate - a follow on from Grant's thread...

I just wanted to add my congratulations to you for settling on your new property but am left wondering how it is all going - unless I missed something!

I do realise that you may wish to keep this all private but what an amazing thread or blog this could be to see you make the change form what you have to no power, house etc. A challenge I would love to hear about as I am sure others would. However - privacy is a divine right and I will respect that if you choose to keep it that way.

Regardless - well done and all the best for your future dreams.

WOW!!! Hats off to you and Geoff for taking on such a project. You have chosen the right season and year to launch into this. Rainfall in Northland during the past two months is the lowest on record, which is not good for grass growth, but will definitely help you guys while you are getting set up.

Has your cabin arrived yet?
