I've left some seed pods on the kitchen bench and yes - they popped. So anyone wanting some seeds pm me with your mailing address and I'll make sure you'll get seeds - probably after Christmas as I'm rather busy.

It is a forest margin plant and grows well under trees in semi shade.

I hope Jack doesn't mind if his plant's offspring are going to be distributed all around New Zealand :)

Gidday

They aint my plants. It's just great seeing people using something natural that the Good Lord has given us. That's what it's for.

Cheers

Will you save me one seedling please? I have been trying to convince myself to go to the specialist for ingrown warts (varuca?) one on each side of my foot. I have tried all the potions and liquid nitrogen etc and thought it would require the surgeons knife. i will arrange to collect it after Christmas if that is okay???

Hi Valmai,

yes, of course. My big wart was an ingrown varuca or whatever it is called, I tried everything but the specialist I saw regarding surgical removal didn't want to risk it - too close to major blood supply or tendon or something - don't remember. That celadine sap only makes it black - no pain - that's the best thing about it. Mine took almost a year to disappear but hurt less and less while walking.
