Anyone ever used one of those fountains for pet water

The thread about cats and water has me thinking about on of those 'catit' drinking fountians for cats/dogs. My cats DO prefer fresh water and a couple of them prefer to drink from a tap when they can get away with it.

I thought one of these fountains could be useful, they circulate water using a small pump. I think most of my mongrels would find it attractive. Has anybody ever used one for their animals?

(I was trying to post a link but it kept coming up with page not found! Anyone curious can go to www.cyberpets.co.nz and search for 'catit fountain' :) !!)

A bit pricey for us but may be of interest to someone else.I think I'l stick with the empty icecream container full of water for ours :)

my cat drinks out of the toilet, no matter how fresh her water is

The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing, and then they marry him.

Thanks for that Sandra :)

Yeah they're pricey, but I have 6 cats so if you divvy it up it's not so bad ;) I use ice cream containers too, but one of the cats will slpash in it if its got the slightest bit of dust or cat hair or vegetation floating on top. Makes a big mess. I thought this might keep the princess happy.
I also get fed up with wiping cat hair off the bathroom basin!

Ok.. well if I buy one I'll post back in case anyone's interested.
