Air Show

The great thing about living here is the planes practicing for the air show this weekend[] Peter Jacksons bi and tri planes plus others flying over our house. And its all free[8D]

Lucky you Sod!

I used to spend quite a bit of time at air shows & practises as my Dad used to compete & do displays in aerobatics.

Sometimes when we're anchored in Ardmore's low flying area in the Hauraki Gulf, we're treated to aerobatics display by some of the warbirds practising. Awesome sitting on the boat watching the planes while munching breakfast!

Cool we get the practice for Cambridge's Armistice Day shows above our place.

When I was a kid dad (USAF) was based in Germany, and we got to see all the amazing USAF shows - back in the days when there were stuff all safety requirements and they did all the stunts over the stands right above you [}]

Used to live next to RAF Cosford and we got to see them practice for the airshow every year.

The first year the www.eurofighter.com/ came was AWESOME

I stood on my sprayer to watch it and the booms were visibly shaking when it turned over the top of me.Most amazing plane I've ever seen

Tigger thats what they are practising for the Armistice day air show here too and we have got a lot of clear space around here so they do things over us:D

Fantastically timed post - I had no idea that there was an airshow on and my 4 year old loves them - so now I know and will definitely be there tomorrow - Thanx!

Starts at 1pm was going to go but got Auntys funeral in Tawa at same time. Have fun for me too. Hope this sudden storm has gone away. They have dog fights with ww1 planes that we have been watching this week.
