Rongotea Primary School (about 16km from Palmerston North), country village surrounded mostly by dairy farms, obviously had a farm visit recently. Here's what one child had to say:

"It all began on a rainy day (they've all been rainy for the last month around here!) at school. We had to go on a big bus. When we got there I was excited. I couldn't wait to get there. We all hopped out and Mr Rowe welcomed us to his farm. First we went to milk the cows. After that twe went to feed the calves. It was super cool. I wanted to keep one because they were really cute. Then we went to see the cow that was trying to give birth. It was as gross as underwear. It was cool. Then we went on the bus back to school." By an eight year old boy.

Isn't that delightful?
