have you got a boat? if so who are you insured with.
We tried the AA as the cars are with them, but they are struggling with the fact is a 70s boat and no we cannot tell them how fast it goes.

Moggy, we insured our boat with the ASB, we have everything with them so it was the easiest thing to do - I have a feeling they did all the work but it's actually with someone else. It is a bit faffy getting all the information they need.

Yes. We have a 10m yacht (a project, will sail around the world when the kids grow up). It is sitting in our backyard right now on stilts as it was getting wrecked when moored at Magazine Bay. Hope to do up, launch this summer or next, and find a more sheltered mooring.

Anyway, we are insured with Mariner, a specialist boat insurer, and have found them to be good (not that we've had to claim). We've been insured with them for three or four years.

We too have our 9m yacht insured with Mariner and have been since I launched the yacht 21 years ago. We had a couple of major claims (dropped rigs, port/starboard collisions) over the 10 years we were racing it which forced the premiums sky high and it took a bit of argument to get the premiums down to a reasonable level once we stopped racing and started just cruising it.

Was away on it this weekend. Still a bit chilly at night but glorious during the day.
