From my Sth America Trip. What A truely awesome experience from the jungles of the Amazon, walking the Inca Trail, staying with a local family on Lake Titicaca to a 4 day 600km 4x4 trip across Bolivia and the worlds largest salt flats.

Wow cantyguy, very similar to a lot our son took as a tour guide in the area for around 18 months, very impressed with your photo taking, "competition quality" I think[8D].
Welcome back.

Awesome photos, CG, quite agree about the calibre. Looks like a lovely trip. I've always wanted to do the Inca Trail.

Welcome back
You don't need land and animals, you can 'live the life' vicariously through this forum
Sounds like a fantastic trip, I want to 'do' South American one day, probably when the kids have grown up. I'll be one of those little old ladies with an enormous backpack.

Seaside at 53 I was one of the youngest in our group lol. The oldest was a chap aged 74 who believe it not was amongst the first up to the top of the highest pass at 4200metres. Our guide thought he was one of the oldest to do the trek. It was quite funny watching the 'young' athletic types with all the good gear power pass us only for us to catch up and pass them because they were going too hard to cope with the altitude.
It was a hard trek but well worth while and the company we travelled with Grassroots Adventures were awesome.

Thanks guys, The camera is a Canon powershot with 20X optical and up to 80 digital zoom. I missed a few good wildlife shots as it was hard to focus on moving and small distant shots. I spent 2 hours overlooking the Colca Canyon to get the shot of the Condour but missed out on several humming bird shots as I couldn't focus quick enough. If you look at details beside the pics it gives the cameras stats I think.
Sue...strangely enough not missing all the work and long hours
