Cam Belt for Bread Maker

The belt that connects the motor with the kneading paddle of our oldish but very well loved Panasonic Bread maker is worn out - after kneading thousands of breads.

Is it possible to get adjustable cam-belts or something to replace the old one?

There's a place in CHCH that will custom make all kinds of drive belts - they made one for us for an old vacuum cleaner a couple of years ago. Will have to have a think about the name of the place...

That would be exactly what I'm looking for - a custom made one because I don't see a chance of getting a spare part for a bread maker we bought used several years ago.

OK, DH says he thinks it was either International Belting in Waltham or Fisher RR and Company in Sydenham. He suggests trying Saxon Appliances first, they're good value, because if they can't help you, they'll point you to someone who can.

I second Saxon Appliances. They had a paddle for our breadmaker, that is a several years old, when we lost ours (found it in the boot of the car a year later).
