I have to admit to my luxury possum slippers helping me round the hospital as I tried to hurry my recovery. I was running from the dreaded clexane injections. I think they do it on purpose to make you get up and about, sure worked with me[;)]

Was a bit difficult carrying all the pot and tubes I was hooked up to, I look back now and grin to myself..... I have come along way. :D

I agree with Valmai, find someone in your life that you trust that can support you, this is not always within your family. I too did not "let go" at home, there was enough to be coped with without sorting out the mess in my head. I managed that on my own.

I have been over at work for a few days but now back until after surgery. :D Spook I put on my out of office I would be back at work 2 weeks later but answering emails once the gas wore off...............................guess thats optimism huh ? I have 'bullied' the surgeon into an obscene discharge date :D like day case as my OH is a nurse and I am a qualified district nurse and can look after my own darn drains thankyou!
PRU2 and BD positive vibes your way. Must say not looking forward to the next week or so.
Take care

hoping you all come through your surgeries positivley and have fast easy recoveries. I just had a lump removed and it was pretty hard waiting to know if it was ok, and it was so pretty lucky really. I really wish you all the same luck.

Blessings
Jen

So that is relatively good news Pru2? Can the liquid diet include alcohol? Thin soup? Sending healing vibes to you (and Cate and MM and Beedee and anyone else who needs them)

At this rate we'll be having lsb get-togethers in hospital wards :(:(:(:(

Take care
Kate

Had an uncomfortable night but I think that was more the bed han anything, it's not right not having 3 cats and a foxie sleeping with ya.

Was pretty uncomfortable this morning so they gave me more morphine which toook the edge off.

At least with the drugs you can imagine you can have the 3 cats and foxie in the bed with you and any other assorted animals you may fancy as well [;)]
