Email sending problem. was created by Rod Brown
I have been trying to send one photo on a word document to 3 people, it keeps on timing out (which it shouldn't do as it is not large). The problem is it has been trying to continually send it for 3 days and I just want to stop it and cancel the whole thing which I don't know how to do successfully, so how do I do that?
Even though I think I've stopped it and canceled it it starts up trying again so I'm obviously do something wrong!
I'm using Windows Live Mail.
THANKS

Rod - I don't use Windows Live but would try to delete the messages (so they can't keep trying to send) by going into your Outbox - right click on the message (s) and click delete.
You will lose those but you could always Copy and Paste the message/picture to a new message (unaddressed) and not send it. Click on Close and presumeably your programme offers you the choice of saving the message in which case it will end up in your drafts folder - until you fixure out what the problem is.
Not sure this will help but you may be interested to learn you are not alone despite the difference in email size. Can you delete the photo only and send the original email to yourself just to check whether the photo is the problem. Wondering if it is the format you are using. No idea! Just offering suggestions. Good luck

You wouldn't be with Xtra by any chance???? Seems they are having major issues at present. I can't get my emails to download, and can't even access them from their homepage.
Everything is on a major go slow this morning and am getting extremely annoyed - NOT the way I like to start my day.....
