I have a BRAG!

Well - went up to Auckland to the dog shows with no expectations - but.........
My wee girl, Ellie, took out her class then took Best Bitch and then Reserve of Breed!! That's at 6 months 1 week. Was stoked with that particularly as her nickname is 'Fruitloop'! She has soooo much FUN out there!! []
Then......my wee boy Sage, won his class, took out Reserve Dog and then Baby Puppy of Group!!!
We had to go back for the In Show yesterday afternoon, finally got into the ring at 6.00. Very tired pups as we took Sadie up with us to keep Sage company. We didn't get any further but he showed as if he had been doing it for months - never mind his first champ shows! Left Auckland at 6.45 and had to drive home through all that awful weather and got home at 8.15 [:0]
A very loooong but successful week-end!

That is so cool and congratulations. I had friends who showed? cats and the ribbons they won (including Best in Show) meant so much, I can understand your delight.

Well the Birmans didnt do that well at the Nationals this year.....Freya came home empty-pawed for the first time in her 3 odd years of showing. But, hey, what a wonderful line up of beautiful cats. There were some stunning Exotics and a Siberian (new breed) did a good job of mauling one of the Oz judges. Poor lady !!!
