The instant the shutter captures the shot is the trick. The decisive moment it's called. Man... some of these cats really did produce a decisive moment and a good job someone was there to capture it.
Phoebe and Rivka, our two pommie cats can whip up an amazing act with the tiniest bit of hay or straw or even a blade of grass on the kitchen floor.
The floor is varnished chip board so skidding about is part of the fun.
Rivka is very heavy on her feet and you'd think a goat was learning to tap dance out there sometimes. Phoebes eyes get really round and the pupils enlarge so much she looks slightly crazed.
What gets me wondering though, is when they suddenly stop whatever they were doing and stare at the wall or up into a corner near the ceiling, sometimes they just stare at one spot and other times, Rivka in particular seems to be following the movements of something around the walls.... hmmmm..... It's not so bad most of the time but when she does it while 'Most Haunted' is on..... well ....... in these cases, a nod is as good as a stare (rather than a wink) .... if you know what I mean.
She probably just does it to wind me up.
It works! So does the one claw being dragged down the glass in the sliding door during this programme. She just wants in but she can sure pick her moments!

thanks kaybe. I love cats and love a smile. You really have to wonder what on earth was happening to enable those shots to be taken.
I have one I printed off above my computer and it is a cat that appears to have rolled down a hill, covered in leaves and the words are "Where the f**ck am I?
Makes me smile everytime I come into the office to log onto LSB. Only kidding Kate!!!!!

Had them on email, but they make me laugh. Good to see them again. Amazing shots of the cats.
