Early Christmas spirit

Well, its our last craft show in our present venue. We have used this venue since we began the Southern Crafters about 12 and a half years ago.
So the committee decided to have a few drinkies and a pot luck tea for all the stall holders at the adjacent Garrison Club.
All was going fantastically well when Mrs President of the club asked us all to wait till 6.30 as she had arranged a teeny surprise for us all, and she hoped the committee would not be too mad at her for doing so.

At 6.30pm in walked these fantastic grandchildren and great-grandchild of Mr & Mrs Prsident, all dressed up as Christmas fairies, and one wee elf. They looked absolutely fantastic. But that was not the entire surprise.
Mrs President has been extremely busy and baking these gorgeous wee ginger bread men - all decorated up and in a wee plastic bag with a coloured tie. The fairies and elf then took their bag full of goodies and set about handing them out to all the adults in the room and wishing them all a merry Christmas.
The bags were also hand made and carried the following message:
"My name is Jonty, (or other childs name) Merry Christmas from the Southern Crafters and me...."

What a lovely thing for Mrs President to do and it was certainly appreciated by the stall holders.

What a lovely lady Mrs President is.

Live your life in such a way that it will be easy for people to say nice things at your funeral [;)]
