Near new electrical tape (Gator brand) & the adhesive stays on the layer below; hence it doesn't work.
My last lot of tape which just ran out was probably about 15 years old & other than getting a bit gooey around the edges was perfect & worked well.
Anybody know best brand/where to purchase? Just want it for odd jobs & occasional use in my equine first aid.
Thanks.

Hmm. If the tape is peeling off and leaving the adhesive on the layer below then once you have removed one layer of tape you can start using it, just turn it over since the adhesive is on the outside.

It has possibly been near heat and should be returned as that can make that happen.

Thanks.
Turning it over not an option. I'ts very irregular & it hasn't been bonded on. Can't take it back asreceding youth has prevented me from remembering where I bought it & it's a while ago.
3M make really good products so I'll give that a try. Bit of a pain as I hardly ever use it but it's best to have it on hand.
Thanks again.

I use Nitto Electrical Tape (from electrical wholesalers, well out off partners van actually but same difference) for agility jump poles that stay outside all the time and some of it has been on poles for a good couple of years.

Bunter, that sounds good. I'll try & get some from local electrical supplies stores - I know of a couple which are close to each other & with easy access as I recently had to get a light for my oven.
Thanks.
Thanks.
