Gosh time flies Lou! I can't belive little Malty is all grown up already. He's certainly turned into a very handsome man! (not that hasn't always been [;)])

His breeding (minus the Irish) is very similar to my grey monster's.

So, how tall is he? He is so nicely proportioned it's hard to get an idea of how tall he is.... Do they get their height from their sire or dam?

He's about 15.3HH. Mum is 16.2HH and Dad is 14.3HH so he is pretty much smack bang in the middle :)

LOL. [;)] I was thinking the same thing! Interesting question O as one of our boys is 16.1hh and his mother was 14.2hh.

Don't know how big TB Dad was (insemination with won semen) but all his other progeny went to Japan for SJ - at least that is what we were told.

The people who bred this boy were visualising a 15.1hh for their kids. I do wonder if he was hand reared though as he is more human than horse and extremely tactile with his mouth. Now retired and 20 years old - and a grey. What an amazing horse in his time. Love greys!

Love your boy Lou! You have every reason to be proud. :D

Well done.
Times are certainly tough out there, I don't envy Kim's decision at all...
