We had a couple of reporters turn up to talk to us on our views about this supercity plan. They tried asking people on the main street but they were all out-of-towners. They spotted my girls (and Boy) from the road and decided we were the rural look they were after.
The photographer took photos and there is an ok photo of some of them on page two and the article on page 12 with a photo..... not the best the squished the photo to fit the gap but he got a good one of the goats mugging us for bits of fruit and tea bags.
I was having one of my constant bad hair days owing to the fact that I don't give a jot about it so no doubt I'll get an earfull from my parents when I send them the cuttings... both being retired hairdressers (dad was a barber).
In the article they mentioned calling into the bacon shop and their interview with the manager and also the fact that seconds after they left, the woman behind the counter raced out after them with a cooked sausage each. They noted how they couldn't remember when the butcher in Parnell had chased after them offering a cooked sausage.Unfortunately one of them was Vegan and the other didn't eat pork. Never mind, it was the thought that counted.

No but I did find a copy of the photo (on the Net) of you and Kim feeding the goats. Won't put on here without your OK but it looks like a love fest! What good Mums you are.

Lovely photo. Looks almost like a group hug.

It was more like a group mugging than a hug.
Mr Tumnus bit my finger in his enthusiasm. it was covered in various flavours of fruit juice so he wouldn't have known at the time.
The photographer didn't get all the goats in the shot, Hanukkah isn't in any of them and I don't think Artemis was being overly social either.
I don't mind the photo being put in here, I have no idea how to do it, as long as it doesn't step on any copywrite toes.

I hope I don't break any copywrite laws in doing this but with whatever is written over your heads should counteract that. If you want to buy the original Yakut, then I can tell you how to find it. Lovely photograph!

Let me introduce you, To the left we have Athena, then Mr Tumnus, Nigella and Delia, Koru then Cricket. Absent from the shot are Yakut, Hanukkah and Artemis. Hanukkah and Yakut were probably circling to find a gap, Artemis isn't into group muggings or even group hugs, she's a bit aloof.
Awwww my gorgeous babies!!! I love them all!!!!!! Even when I have to go out and milk and feed them on a nasty wet night like tonight with flashes of lightning and gusts of wind. They work my last nerve and stand on my feet and drag the nice pile of poop I'd raked up, all over the ruddy shelter again with their busy hooves. I love them!
