MS 'Word problem was created by Midge
I've been having a few probs with a new pc and after a system restore yesterday a new problem has cropped up.

Why would it be that I can now (worked fine before system restore) no longer 'save as' changes to an html document without having to close Documents folder each time? The message box says "The document ......... is in use by another application and cannot be accessed"

Something to do with settings no doubt, but I can't figure out which one. A google hasn't helped with the problem.

Any help gratefully received :)

I can't help in this case but I remember Kate helping me with an urgent problem a few years ago. She really knows a lot from experience in a previous life!
