Masterton AP

I am so proud, I could just about pop!

Today we took Meg, our two year old filly to the Masterton A&P. She was so good! It was her very first time in a horse trailer and off the property and she did us so proud. We came home with 3 x 1sts, 1 x 2nd, Champion Registered Clydesdale and two trophies (overall points and Champion)!!!. I have never won a trophy before and today we won two!! And, what was even better - A colt by our stallion took out Reserve Champion.

Congratulations all of you. Looks like you had a nice sunny day, it was quite cool and overcast yesterday when we were there, but I'm pleased it wasn't too hot.
You must be so proud of her achievement first time out and goes a little way to making up for last years sorrow.

Thanks guys. I was very proud to be leading her around yesterday. Nick and I were supposed to share the load but I kept her all to myself []. I can't wait until she is a mature mare in a few years - might even take her to HOTY and do the ridden classes! Haha!

Well done, Lou! I can still "see" in my minds eye the photo of her on Organic Equine's cover, as a baby--hard to believe it was that long ago, and now she's a "growed up" young lady!
