BIRMAN up for rehoming ... was created by Birman Babe
Neutered male, unknown age but not ancient, turned up on a lifestyle block on the top of the Bombays late last year, he was injured but now treated & well. We have tried to find his owner, with no luck, so he will be looking for a new "forever" home.
Currently lives with another cat, okay with young children. Hes a very friendly boy who would have no trouble slotting into someones family.
Any takers? If so, I have pics of him ~ just PM me.

BB, my memory may be failing me (highly likely![
]) but I vaguely remember a family in Ararimu putting an ad in the local paper over several months mid-last year, appealing for their lost cat, and I thought it was a Birman.
As I say, this could be my really, really bad memory and maybe it wasn't a Birman, but I could check it out when I go into the paper tomorrow, if you think it would be helpful.
Of course, it may not be their cat and they may already know this, just thought I'd mention it.

PG, would be great if you could follow that one up for me. Someone must have been looking for him. He was seen wandering across this particular lifestyle block in November. Then mid December he came to their house, injured. The block is quite isolated and in Ramarama.

So, quite possibly he could have come from Ararimu, it's not that far as the cat walks/runs.
I'll check the back issues of the paper tomorrow. If you remember, can you remind me tomorrow (mind still on holiday, resembling a sieve
).

Gosh, I have just been given another "found Birman"...Howick this time.
Been hanging around for 10 weeks or so.
So, PG, hope you are right and there was one advertised...

Ok, bad news I'm afraid. There was a cat that the owners advertised about for three months but it was burmese, not Birman. I searched through all last year's papers just to be sure, but that was the one I was thinking of.
Sorry BB

Oooooh, thanks for trying anyway!
So now I have 2 lovely seal pt Birman boys looking for homes.
Any takers? Have photos if anyone is interested.
One would have to be an only cat, the other could share with another cat as he is already...
