I've had a long but productive day in your city and travelling to Golden Bay, goodness that Takaka Hill is a biggie, coming out of the clouds and looking over the green valley gave me flashbacks to Switzerland!

Glad you didn't go to any fuss and put on special weather for me or anything [}] actually it is good weather for photo taking so not complaining.

And I found an awesome cafe in your main street that has just coffee and chocolate - as in, lumps of special chocolate, to have with your coffee. Good thinking, that person!!!

Am off to Renwick tomorrow then footloose and fancy free Weds and probably heading off Murchison way for a looksee. Keep that rain away, will ya, have heard you've had enough for a while []

Unfortunately yesterday was flat stick, GBPeter, I was 6am to airport, airport-workshop-drive across to Takaka-workhop-drive back and then it was after 6.30 by the time I got back to the hotel

If tigger is going from Renwick to Murchison then she will probably be going via St Arnaud, so will be driving right past you're road Kiwi (assuming you are in Baigent Rd or one of those on that stretch).

Well this Tigger has lost her bounce [xx(] you guys sure know how to do roads around here I'm stuffed! Even the lure of a zippy wee hatchback at my disposal is not enough to entice me back onto the roads tomorrow for a longish trip.

So will indulge in a little windowshopping and modest purchases (Xmas prezzies) and maybe head to the airport a little earlier than I need to to go to see the WOW Museum again - food for the soul, that place, love those costumes and not a gumboot in sight!!

If you have a spare few minutes, turn right at the roundabout to the airport (just before the pond on the right) go to end of street turn left and call in to Nelson Helicopters, I will be there from around 8-45 to Lunch (then the dentist[:0][!]) Coffee is free.

LR, yep, we're Baigent road, the entire length of the road, all 3km of it, is on our place the big old pines at SH 63 where the road is are the old Howard Junction school site from the 1800's early 1900's, so theres some history to the place.
