The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing, and then they marry him.

I remember when we had a guy hiding in the pine plantation up the road from us for a couple of weeks. They ended up finding him in a ditch in Karaka. He had shot a couple of people i think, not a nice feeling at all. Hope they get him soon

Just heard on the news he is still loose...crap!!!! found this on stuff too...locals had better keep inside until he is found, he sounds nasty
Police are still hunting dangerous fugitive Matthew Kidman, believed to be in the Upper Hutt area, but have moved their search into surrounding bush.
A helicopter was used this morning to search around Fergusson Drive and the Wellington Golf Club but Kidman is believed to have evaded police, including the armed offenders squad, and escaped to the hills east of the valley.
Earlier, pupils at St Patrick's Silverstream were ordered to stay in their classrooms. Pupil Matt Richardson, 16, speaking to Stuff.co.nz from inside the school, said the chopper was hovering about 200m north of the campus.
"We just got told there's a guy with a rifle roaming around the paddocks and we have to stay in class," Richardson said.
St Patrick's Silverstream spokesman Tony Giles said they had received a call from police at around 9.30am this morning, telling them to keep the boys inside.
Police have since told the college it was safe for pupils to be released from their classrooms.
Armed police are lining the Hutt River bank around the search area, which covers a reasonably large area of land including the school, golf club and surrounding farmland.
Police believe Kidman could be driving a motorised golf cart.
Acting senior sergeant Braydon Leniham said that Kidman, who may be armed, probably took the the cart from the Silverstream Golf Driving Range.
Royal Wellington Golf Club employee Kevin McAllister said golfers from the club had earlier been told not to go out on the course but had since been given the all-clear.
"He (the suspect) took a quad bike from the driving range and they can’t find him or the bike," he said.
Police have requested that any suspicious activity in the area should be reported to police immediately on 111. They warned people not to approach Kidman. He is on bail for firearms offences and considered dangerous.
A search was launched for Kidman on Tuesday, which also included the armed offenders squad, dog handlers, a negotiation team and the Westpac helicopter , after he was reportedly seen in a car with a firearm visiting a house in the suburb of Naenae.
A firearm was later dumped at Taita Cemetery before Kidman headed into the hills.
Police patrols have combed hills around Lower Hutt over the last two days.
Kidman is described as Caucasian, 187cm tall, of thin build wearing a white top and dark pants.
