When I go to open up anything from Excel I get -

Preparing to install Microsoft XP Professional front page, then it tells me that the network resource is unavailable!!

It says Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the insatllation package 'PROPLUS.MSI' in the box below

But I haven't uninstalled anything!!!!

You drank the Microsoft Kool-aid. Sorry.

Lookup PROPLUS.MSI on Google and you'll get a couple of helpful hits, such as this one:

forums.techguy.org/business-applications...us-msi-needed-2.html

They all seem a bit variable and unconclusive. Good luck, and I suggest you move on to OpenOffice.

You're welcome. Actually fixing computers is very simple - just one click. Shame it takes hours, days, weeks before you find the right click!
