Kiwi emails not getting through
It followed up an email I sent last week to the Agent concerned. He just replied via the NZ website that NZ is having troubles receiving emails.... this is seconded by our builder who also hasn't received some of our emails, and when he has replied, some of his previous ones were coming in, in dribs and drabs.
Are any of you having similar troubles? I thought I would ask in case you are cursing someone for not replying, when in fact they might have, but you haven't received it.... or visa versa.

However last week our maintenance man (who is very good with replying to my emails, gawd love him) said the same thing. Just wondered if its a "me" thing, or others are finding the same...
I am getting alot of emails though with no subject line, and it closes outlook express. So they automatically go into my spam account by my AVAST! AV, and I delete them. Perhaps they are keeping the ISPs overloaded?

Inger has been finding recently that some of her e-mails aren't going through and I have just had a complaint from a customer this morning about an order he placed by e-mail which was never received at this end.
If you are sending to anyone who has .xtra.co.nz as part of their e-mail address, be particularly suspicious as their customers have been inundated by spam in recent weeks and there have also been reports of a lot of e-mails going missing.

Yes, Gmail's Spam filter seems to work pretty well -- the best I've come across in my internet travels.quote:Originally posted by maggies mum

The odd Nigerian-style spam seems to sneak through as well as a few of the ones offering cheap software, but I keep clicking "Report as Spam" in the hope that Gmail will eventually nail these as well.
Gmail's web mail interface is also extremely fast to use -- heaps better than Xtra Web Mail and no messing around with signing in. Every time you do a Google search it remembers that you are signed in and you can access the web mail with just one click [8D]

Rang Xtra and got to the bottom of it. Seems with all this changing to Bubble, or whatever, the missing emails had gone into a spam folder I knew nothing about.[

So, profuse apologies to the firm involved and all their replies rescued and am currently wading my way thru the other 2900 emails that are in said folder[}

Would larger companies such as insurance companies be working through the Xtra accounts though? I can understand it my maintenance fellow, and the sewerage fellow, but not an insurance company....quote:Originally posted by ronnie

Can't even get the Bubble to keep me signed in for even one day let alone the two weeks they offer
