Meet up for the Greater Wellington Area

Just caught up with Smilie

Westermans had mentioned about a get together to me (Hope you don't mind me mentioning that)

Smilie is pretty keen for a cuppa and catch up and a gorse fritter or two []

So if you are in the Wellington/Kapiti/Wairarapa area and would like to meet up, please express your interest below and preference for get together.

I am easy (But not cheap)

During the week, I homeschool so would have kids, hope that is not an issue for anyone.

Am free all Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Don't mind weekends either.

A weekend would be better for us. Its a hell of a long walk during the week with Alan working ha ha. i could always try coming on the ride on but it wouldn't get up your drive lol

..so long as you dont mind a 9yr old and 5 yr old. Very well behaved they are though. But if hubby doesn't come, then he can look after the kids (which sounds the better option hee hee [}] )

I'd be available most weekdays - any commitments are not every week. But weekends are hopeless for me as OH works in Wgtn during the week so we only see each other and get stuff that needs both of us doing, at weekends. Would somewhere in Lower Hutt be good as reasonably central for everyone?

Yes, would be very interested in a get together. I work mon/wed/fri so tue/thu or weekends best for me

After seeing these kind of discussions many many many times since LSB started, heres a tip for ya! Seems to work best when someone just stands up and says "get together at my house on the 10th november" for example, and those that can make it, do, and unfortunately there will always be some who cant....

Otherwise the discussion seems to go around in circles for a month or so, then nothing happens lol

OK...so for those who can only do weekdays or are up for both coffee mornings/afternnons you are welcome to come to mine Tuesday 4th november anytime, just PM if anyone is interested. I just cant make weekends at all otherwise i would be there in a shot.. anything for a chat and cuppas and meeting new people

OH almost forgot to say Kids are more than welcome..but one hint...bring something for them to play with if they are littlies as mine are teens and no toys in my house anymore...got a tv..the great outdoors and dogs that love to play though

I think there are both on the offer I can only do week days so took the advice above and posted a day to come to mine in the week and i think CK has others that can only do weekends...so the choice is yours..and i wont take offence if its just me and lots of cakes...mmmmm....lol..
