I'm a grandma (of the human kind) PIC ADDED! was created by Birman Babe
2.39pm this afternoon our first grandchild, Dylan Harrison Blake, popped into the world. Welcome wee man!!

Daughter wasnt due for another week but had a fall a week or so ago, bounced down the steps on her bum and they think she has a hairline fracture on her tailbone. [:0].which could mean a painful birth and an epidural for sure! Well her platlettes were starting to get a wee bit low so, yesterday, her specialist decided that today was to be the day and she would be induced as, I believe, if your platlettes are too low they wont allow you an epidural ??

All went well and mother & baby are just fine :D

Will try & get some pics tomorrow..

how wonderful for you. We can't wait to be grandparents but no signs as yet. Kids are from 26 years old to 14 years old.
1 Border collie, 1 Huntaway, 2 Lhasa Apsos, Suffolk and arapawa ewe crosses, an Arapawa ram,an East Friesian ewe , 5 cats, 42 ducks , 1 rooster and 30 hens, 5 geese, 12 goats, 2 donkeys, 2 house cows, one heifer calf, one bull calf, 3 rabbits and lots and lots and lots of fruit trees...

Congrats and welcome to a whole new wonderful world! Tailbones can be very painful if bruised and even worse if cracked or broken so tell your daughter to take it easy, use heaps of cushions and accept help when offered!!
