Its been a big issue on aussie Sky kiwi news..... and yes I agree, I hope Austin's memory is never forgotten for the hope and bravery he showed the woman under attack.
Not many want to get involved these days (sometimes for good reason) and even less actually do.
And to think they let that ..... wear a hoodie to protect his face in the car... he should have been exposed for all to see. Shame!
Where are the human rights for the innocent and their families? there is no reason whatsoever to be carrying a knife in Auckland city. No fencing to be done, nor injured animals to be euthanised.
Exactly, if there is one question I would like to ask our poiliticians it would be , 'when are you going to start protecting the victims of crime, stop protecting the people that break the law and start giving out jail sentences that reflect the crime. I don't what else they do, just deal to that!
May his selfless act of sacrifice inspire others to speak up/act in similar situations rather than turning a blind eye. Our condolences to his family and friends.
