My day just got a wee bit better - final update

Having a sod of a day. Won't go into details as [email protected]!# just happens.

Anyway, got a letter this morning from the district court regarding my Disputes Tribunal hearing. Seems the person I am chasing to get my money back does not live at the address given. :(:(
So, I have emailed Trademe for an updated address, but am sure will get diddly squat from them.

So, onto our new best friend - Google.

Seems the person I am chasing has a profile :D :D

A little bit of digging, and what do you know - seems she is a candidate in the up coming election, albeit for a very minor party. But there are her details for all the world to see, including her current address :D :D :D :D
So will happily supply the Bailiffs with her new address and see what they can find there.

Failing that, I am sure her party bosses would not particularly like this sort of info hitting the local paper this close to an election.[}:)][}:)]

I seem to recall this sort of thing being called "poetic Justice" and doesn't happen to me all that often.

Made my day

excellent. I like a bit of poetic justice. Good searching! I am amazed though at the fact that people don't seem to realise that if they post a blog or some such that someone will find them by using a search engine. Hope it ends positively this time.

Well, I got the letter I have been waiting for this morning. The distress warrant has been paid in full and the cheque will be forthcoming shortly[^] :D :D :D

That will teach her to play silly beggars and think she can get away with it[}:)]

Nor anyone even remotely connected to the party she stands for. But they are so minor, they haven't had a mention anywhere yet[;)]

I'm pleased you finally got some justice. We had to go through the disputes tribunal once. It was a bit nerve wracking, but the Engineer won the case, so it ended up fine. It had to be done over a phone conference call, as we lived too far away from the other party.
