Kate I am so pleased to hear about Max (just read your thread!). We had one of our darling Birmans go walkabout in April and he never came back...so this is fantastic news.
Thought you might like to see a picture of Doodle....hence the Doodle's Mum...

The rest of us are on a lifelong learning curve and we're more likely to respond to positive well meaning advice. This is a great site to get that help and support, after you've been around for a while you get used to how each individual responds to others questions. Some are sympthetic and supportive, some are blunt and to the point, but no less helpful.
For those new members who need that help at the start could so easily be scared off by some of the blunt and rude responses they get. I am not directing that at you either Longridge, because I value the input and the communication from you when we were having problems with 'Baba' the Boer kid who died.
It takes just as much time and effort to reply positively as it does to be less constructive.
Having said that though some of us do need the occasioanl kick in the ass! Mine today would be to stop gasbaggind on here all day and go and do something.
Back to work tomorrow for me I think!
