fly screen manufacturer - franklin

perhaps I am not using the right wording, but I am trying to locate a fly screen manufacturer, preferably in the franklin region, to make us up some fly screens and possibly a pull out screen door for a ranch slider (all aluminium).

Any ideas Folks? Are they still called fly screens in NZ because all I can find are plenty of caravans for sale with them. (and don't go telling me you don't have any flies 'cause I have seen some huge monsters about).[;)]

Interested to hear how you get on as I was thinking of putting a lockable screen door on the cattery and was wondering the price.

We used Rylock for ours. They're magnetic ones so we can take them down in winter. We got extra magnets too so we can swap them all around the house as we didn't want the expense of a whole house lot all at once. We have two ranch slider screens too. They're AWESOME!

Just for interest, I typed 'screen doors' into a Google search (and then refined with 'Pages from New Zealand') and I am presented with quite range of options, many in the Auckland area.

Quite right, there are too many options which is why I am hoping to shortcut the exercise by piggybacking Swaggies research/experience. Thanks GP I will look into your company.

Do you think I was replying to your previous comment?
Let me assure you, I wasn't.

I was actually referring back to the to the original poster ('Swaggie') at the top of the page, who expressed some difficulty in finding anything other than 'Caravans' when 'flyscreens' was entered. This was the whole point of his posting, I thought.
And, he certainly wasn't saying there were 'too many options', but implying he couldn't find any.

Err, back in 2008. Internet searches have come a long way in 3 years. :D

I must confess, I didn't notice the original date when I made the first reply - otherwise, after three years I wouldn't have bothered.

I did as the orininal post is 3 years old (as you have since found out) but does it matter? Either way you were right and there are too many options.

many thanks folks I haven't tried googling so far this season! :D :D but its on the to-do list.

Our problem is that we require white frames that stick to PVC windows. Apparently we could get them quite easily in Oz, but not here, in a couple of colours but not white.....

but i will try again! :D :)
