Hiya :) Its pretty much ok now, was a bit more major than i thought it would be initially. They found a hole in between the muscle and the bone the size of your fist and had a bit of trouble filling it in apparently lol. They had to put a drain in which got infected and didn't respond to normal antibiotics so i had to take some other stuff which made me feel a bit sick. BUT all good now :D The big lump is gone and there is still a bit of a dent where the hole was but hey i'm happy, they did suggest i get it done again in 6 months but i think i'll pass on that thanks [:0]
It was really good being awake during the surgery....you don't feel all hung over and nauseous afterwards and i had a great chat with the anethisist and nurses.

TOUGH??????? picture this....stuck at home, not allowed out to see my babies, city boy (who has been shown a million times) asking me what do i feed so and so? etc etc. Teenage wastemaster bitching and moaning about whens dinner gonna be ready (god forbid he should get off his butt and do it himself)!!!!! and NO ALCOHOL! [}:)]
I wanna know how come it was ok for me to get up and do the housework and cook but not to go outside and see my animals????? Anyway after a week i told them both to go away and leave me alone, city boy went home, child hid in his room (nothing new there) and i went ticky touring around the farm (on the quad bike so technically not walking as per surgeons instructions).

I believe i am a bad patient lol :D [:(!] :D

oh oh oh oh I have THE easiest most yummiest most anyone *EVEN* devan can do it and look a right proper chef recipe for cross cut blade steak[^]
Do ya want me to share it?????[;)]

Well ... you get your cross cut blade steak:rolleyes:
and I *USE* to once a long pon a time ago pop it on tin foil and make individual parcels ... but now I don't:rolleyes:
Anyhow NOW this is what I do... bung your crosscut steaks into a oven dish... lined with baking paper for easy cleaning :D
On top of each steak ....place bacon (or ham) sliced onions, mushooms (if you have some and if you like them:rolleyes:)tomatoes, (peppers if you have them and you like them:rolleyes:) lots and lots of cheese .... lovely gooey cheese like swiss (but edam works good ) and tasty if you prefer:rolleyes:

When you have all the stuff you like on your steaks ... you can wrap them up in their individual parcels ...if you are doing the posh way OR ... cover the roasting dish with lid OR tin foil and bake for an hour or so:rolleyes: (well till it is cooked:rolleyes:) ................you can use anything you fancy in this dish ... it is ALWAYS yummy and bloody easy:rolleyes:
I like to do spuds in their jackets or mashed spuds ( to soak up the juices and greens salad :D
If you want to have a few drinkies whilst this extremely difficult dish is cooking ...it doesn't matter cos' it won't dry out if you don't take the cover off:rolleyes:
Cheers ... any questions :p

Thats just blardy marvellous chickie....i shall give that a go, reckon even i can't stuff that up :D

I cooked dinner last night, it was only macaroni cheese (but i do cook really nice macaroni) well anyway the city boy was outside chopping firewood and the teenage wastemaster was attached to his playstation so neither of them realised i had made dinner. Friend of mine turned up just after i put it in the oven and we were having coffee. Well the timer went off in the oven to i took it out and put it on the bench. Friend says "did you cook that?" uh yeah i say, city boy walks in and says to friend "did you bring that? cool" and wastemaster ponces out and goes "who cooked that?"

Well the shock on all their faces was priceless!!!!!!!!! Guess i been a bit slack lately
