Oi, you ex-English people, we've just been trying a new biscuit from Griffins called "Toffee Pops Desserts".

It's a "dark chocolate and orange torte" biscuit and I must say, although it has a thicker base than the Jaffa Cake, it's pretty darn close. Maybe a teeny, tiny bit light on the jaffa.

So if you're missing them, or can't justify $4.50 a pack plus postage for the real thing, these might be an option :D

I had three, just to make sure. The rest got eaten by the visitors who so generously provided them.

And yes, Suki does look so cute! It's the guilt factor that does it :D

Yes, I found them last week-they may even be a tiny bit crisper and fresher than Jaffa cakes that have logged up all those food miles!;-)

My OH hasn't eaten a bought biscuit for years but he tried a Tiramisu Toffee pop (because he liked the Tiramisu chocolate from Cadbury). Our kids queued up and he wasn't generous at all with handing them out. Seem to be delicious. Shame that I'm allergic to chocolate so I can't even try them:(

OOOh I love Jaffa cakes!

I made a great discovery in PakNSave the other day....A huge English section :D .... I don't normally shop there so who knows how long Ive been missing out!

Well my eyes were popping out on stalks....they weren't cheap though but great for a wee treat.. I bought 2 packets of Polo mints and pkt of Jaffa cakes. Well i ate the lot all in one go [:I] .. I just couldn't help myself. I did feel a bit icky afterwards but hey it was worth it..

So tomorrow i am going to try the Toffee pop desert. Hmm now what happened to my diet [}:)]

You know I once jokingly said to Scouse girl that me and her should open up a pommie shop in Hamilton.
It's starting to have some appeal!

PG, Jaffa cakes, two packets left at Pak'n Save in Pukekohe when we were in there tonight. Personally, I've been eyeing up the Dandelion and Burdock!

I had a quick look at Countdown in Huntly, all they had was the banoffee pie flavour. I did see some toffee pops in dark chocolate. Yummmmmmyyy.
Can't imagine how both packets ended up in my arms [:I]
