I had it some years ago, and took it off. Mostly because I never really used any of them, and I figured I could use the room for something else. I don't remember ever having a problem because of them.

Don't use it. It's evil.
If you *really* want a different email program then I recommend Thunderbird.

It's proprietary
It's adware
It's insecure
It generates ugly HTML with tedious graphics and animations
You cannot easily export *your* email and addresses to other programs
It is difficult, if not impossible to de-install
Rob asked if it was ok to use. I say no.

I have a customer who uses Incredimail and I wouldn't recommend it.
It likes to install other 'free' things, puts icons on your desktop to entice you to sign up for games etc., nags you to upgrade to a paid version and is generally a bit of a pain. I have noticed some inconsistencies with its message rules and approved senders, too. It's not as easy to use as they claim.
It does slow your computer down, doesn't take kindly to having its settings changed and the mail format makes it extremely difficult to import from another email client should you decide to change in the future.
I've been doing a little research on this today, because I want to import mail from Incredimail to Thunderbird for my customer, who has finally decided he wants to change. Apparently, recent versions of Incredimail are even more incompatible with other email clients.
