Oh dear.. I'd better not let hubby see that one. He had man flu earlier this year.. it was touch and go for a while there. In his opinion, anyway.

However, according to him, a hearty dose of lemonade should be able to cure my current combination head-cold and morning sickness in a jiffy. Go figure??

You didn't sense just a smidgeon of misogyny in there? As self-deprecating as it was, it didn't do it cleanly.

Hmm, should show hubby that. He had it two weeks ago and while in bed (I was jibstopping our living room/dining and kitchen ceiling in preparation for painting on the weekend) we had a phone call...he answered the remote instead, and then wondered why the phone kept ringing. He did manage to get out of bed and bring the phone to me which was quite heroic on his part I thought.

Yep, I did, but I figure that it was all part and parcel of the 'poor me' syndrome [}:)]

you must have a gem of a husband, he has man flu and still answered the phone, amazing, small tip keep the phone next to you so he does not have to go through that pain again, the thing is all you females just dont know the pain we go through with the man flu and PLEASE dont bring child birth into it.

I certainly appreciate the pain I go through when hubby has the man flu [}:)]

Actually I am very lucky; my problem is that even when he is really sick he won't admit it and I pretty much have to get him to the doctor at gunpoint...[;)]

I know what threshold is going to be lowered if sheddweller has man flu for much longer[:(!][;)] :p Another one who won't go to the doctor, even at gunpoint.
