Full moon

Now this may seem a bit odd but does anyone else have trouble sleeping when its a full moon? I thought it was only me but my neighbour said she cant sleep properly either. Terralee..... bite your tongue on the warewolf comments! [}]
And no its not because i'm sitting up all night thinking about what to cook lol

Have you noticed that your palms are a bit woolly at this time of the moon cycle as well . Sorry devan you only told terralee to bite her toungue[][}]

same, i have trouble sleeping sometimes when it's a full moon. sunday night i went to sleep about 3.00am[!] and monday night got to sleep about 2.00am[!], last night about 1.00am[!].....sooooo annoying, toss and turn, get up, back to bed, toss and turn, watch tv, toss and turn, watch tv.......and so on.

mind you, we have some high up triangle shaped cathedral windows that dont have curtains in our bedroom (bad design really) so when it's a full moon it's really light even in the middle of the night.

i have a friend who absolutely cannot sleep when its a full moon also.

Phew i'm glad to hear that, pretty much the same for me too. Last night 1am night before 4am! argggggg it just does my head in. My room is dark so its definately not that

Not a problem with me... but then again my room has heavy thick curtains and is on the other side of the house from most of the light... sort of like a subterranean cave

we have no curtains...we nhave no money to buy them yet :0 so i cant sleep its like soneone has the lights on all night long and i sleep in pitch black only..they do say get up and do something you dont like...you could cook

Yep, I never sleep well when the moon is full. It's reasonably common.

no glow worms or bats have set up residence yet I wouldn't say no to a jet powered car it one were to show up tho

Well the weather here's been so awful, that its been hard to tell there's a full moon.

Yep if I've had a poor sleep you can bet it's a full moon......and there's madness going on somewhere On Sunday night at work [hospital] a patient slashed herself badly, and then another patient threw a chair thru a huge plate glass window. I offered my thoughts about it being a full moon cos I could see it thru my window and was ordered to pull the blinds in case I got stroppy too.

I have the same windows kathken, if you ever find out how to make curtains for them let me know. I priced shutters once and they wanted six grand to make shutters to cover 4 windows! We don't have shutters:o.

I never sleep well no matter what stage the moon is at . I read a lot and if I have a 'junk' read it can sometimes make me nod off. No matter what time I do nod off my eyes pop open at 5am summer and winter.

yeah - i know where youre coming from TKP.
i think you can actually get verticals to fit windows like these, as i remember a company i worked for had some made for a converted warehouse. they were fitted on a slant ie each vertical got smaller as the window size reduced. but for us - it's always about the money, window dressing is so blardy expensive.

yep - if i get a bad sleep (like hours lost) - yep i still wake up early too even on the weekends when i can sleep in if i want. never can any more. bugger.
