I was looking at the Hyosang comets. I've decided to get my '78 280Z up and running and all my cars fully paid off before I get a bike. But at current fuel prices, a bike is certainly on the cards :D

edit: thats an aussie site, check it's available in NZ first. some honda bikes weren't available in NZ but were in Aussie.

Yeah ive looked at the hyosung cruisers aswell, and the suzuki ninja (250) and i think this particular one could be the ticket. I dont do much "around town" driving. Its 10 mins open road to work and back, and down to palmy and back, and i think 5 hours hunched up on a sports bike might be a bit uncomfortable! But at the moment it cost me over $100 in diesel to get to palmy and back, so a bike might pay itself off pretty quick!

Suzuki Ninja???? Oh dear. Perhaps a Kawasaki Ninja? They Hyosungs are average bikes, but below par compared to the jap bikes, not bad but still not that great. They are looking at a license law change in the near future which will mean the overpriced 250's will drop in price like v8 falcons.
Your body has to get used to riding bikes for long periods of time, I found my old GSXR750 was far more comfortable after 6 hours riding than my mates harely, and it was warmer, and you stayed dryer when the weather packed in. But a cruiser might suit you better. (lots of chrome can suck to keep clean and rust free)
