Browsing problem was created by Midge
For some strange reason my pc when browsing the net, has stopped opening new sites on a new page:( The dropped page won't stay down on the taskbar (?) I have to use the 'back' function if I want to find a page that I want to revisit. Does this make sense? Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining pc problems.

I've had look through tools, internet options but am unable to locate the problem. Any help would be gratefully accepted :)

To open your browser with the site link and going to a new page.
press "Shift" when clicking the link. This brings up a new page. :)
With the latest IE you have a "New Tab function which if you click,
opens a "New Tab Browser".

This all means that you are able to have a page open viewing it
and you wish to open a link. Press shift and it will open a new page.
Which when you have finished you can close and still have your original
page open :)

How is the Boy, "Buddy" Midge

To get a new tab open from a link, (in the new IExplorer, and of course Firefox, and now Safari), click the scroll wheel on the link. It should open up a new tab with the link contents in it. This is a kind of middle-click.

In Firefox, to close a tab, middle-click the tabname.

Got it! Thanks guys :) Don't understand why the old method has done a bunk after all these years.

Buddy's fairly good now thanks Gaalburn. I haven't been home much today but this morning he went out to graze with the cows and hooned up with them at tucker time tonight :)
