so glad your mums OK. You will have a wonderful visit, but sadly they go so fast, four weeks isn't very long.

Ihear you about laughing at the trouble with the next generation...all i get from mum is 'you was no better than this' lol..so i am waiting for the day to sound like mum too...hopfully about 20 years from now

we are soo looking forward to seeing mum and showing her our new house and land...she will be our first visitor to our new place, to sleep over anyway..if we dont cound the tuns of kids at the weekends

4 weeks will not be enough i know, but we are happy for any time with her, its hard not seeing her all the time, its the only thing i miss about the UK, after dad died we spent so much time together before we left it...very very hard to drive away that day, but it was the only thing we could do, it was the right move for us as a family...and she knows that, after dad passing at 57 and leaving mum a widow at 56 i knew i had to live every day as it was my last...dad wouldnt have wanted it any other way, and thankfully i have the most selfless mum who agreed that it was the right move to make..and after visiting us agreed there was no where else she would want her only grandkids bought up..but my brothers wife is having their first baby in August so mum will have a grandchild within 10 mins of her house..whooo for big bro being fertile
