Yes all happy now...again....someone will soon spoil it no doubt....someone at the age of almost 16 is my guess at about 4pm when i get her off the bus from school....i tell you she will be lucky to have a bloody cake at this rate never mind the 35 kids sleeping over in the barn!!!!!!!! Mum may turn around and go home for some quiet when she sees what her lovely grandaughter turns into when she is pre-menstrual!! God helps whoever gets that one i tell you...we will be crying through sheer joy of having off loaded her....lol.....BUT when she is happy..the world is great...and she is a great kid, we love her to bits but my god i dont know who i pissed off in a previous life but i must have been bad to get this one!!!

I know where you are coming from, teenage girls can be the pits some times. Give me teenage boys anyday.

so glad your mums OK. You will have a wonderful visit, but sadly they go so fast, four weeks isn't very long.

Good news Westermans. As for the teenage daughter, they should be called Teenage Mutant Teenage Daughters. You do survivie it and I wished on my lot the same as they gave me and joy of joys it is happening. :D :D :D So you can look forward to the day you can sit back and smile when they complain about their own teenagers. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Leonie, cheers for the reminders :) i did look on the calender nad get some ideas on when to trim them and 5 in 1 etc..but as ususal i need all the reminders i can these days...my head is so full of stuff i think it may pop. I am getting my guy in to my girls as soon as he can as some of them are getting BIG tummies :) As for my dads comment, i think it would ring true with many of the male species :)
Ihear you about laughing at the trouble with the next generation...all i get from mum is 'you was no better than this' lol..so i am waiting for the day to sound like mum too...hopfully about 20 years from now ;) She is a lovely kid but she tries my patience so often..and people wonder why i drink..i say take Lois and then lets see how you go after a week of nagging...she must have got that from her nan...i will tell her that too...lol...
we are soo looking forward to seeing mum and showing her our new house and land...she will be our first visitor to our new place, to sleep over anyway..if we dont cound the tuns of kids at the weekends :)
4 weeks will not be enough i know, but we are happy for any time with her, its hard not seeing her all the time, its the only thing i miss about the UK, after dad died we spent so much time together before we left it...very very hard to drive away that day, but it was the only thing we could do, it was the right move for us as a family...and she knows that, after dad passing at 57 and leaving mum a widow at 56 i knew i had to live every day as it was my last...dad wouldnt have wanted it any other way, and thankfully i have the most selfless mum who agreed that it was the right move to make..and after visiting us agreed there was no where else she would want her only grandkids bought up..but my brothers wife is having their first baby in August so mum will have a grandchild within 10 mins of her house..whooo for big bro being fertile :)

So pleased about your Mum. I recall you asking for cheap things for her to do? So put her on lambing duty while she's with you and she'll be busy enough!!

Yes it could, she could have TWO teenage daughters in the house at the same time, plus TWO teenage sons.[xx(][xx(][xx(][B)]

I've heard the best way to deal with them at meal times also is to open their bedroom door real quick and hurl a peice of raw steak at them, then close the door quick smart.
