Yes it is quite raw here today as well . It seems we have gone from lovely warm days to cool autumn ones very quickly but I guess we did have a great spell of weather - albeit a bit dry at times .

You'll be nodding off before too long Kate []. There sure is something about a wood fire that is relaxing . Can't imagine having gas or electricity as heating . It has been nearly 30 years since we didn't have wood as a main heat source . [^][^]

We had a cuppa at our neighbours place today, good to check out their heat pumps and how well they work as we are having the same [}]
Exceptionally toasty, I must say, compared to outside. Am looking forward to next winter in a warm house with no draughts or gas heaters putting moisture into the air and requiring a dehumidifier 24/7 to stop things getting damp! []
