Have you heard the weather reader man on breakfast tv?
every time he reads they start to play something in the background.
or rather not background but more next to him.
last week it was a lady that sang opera and some disco music of low quality from a broken speaker (?) and then it was someone plonking on a piano it goes on and on.
Not one morning letting the weather man talk without music and on same volume as he talks!!!

it was just hearing impaired week in NZ and they still do this!

I have mailed them and told them that it is disrespectful towards both hearing impaired and the guy that reads the weather,,making him not importanat drowning him out with music!

I agree with you 100% :)

Have you also noticed on the late night news -- TV3 started it and now TV1 has followed suit -- how they dredge up the crappiest music imaginable to play during the weather.

These TV moguls just don't get it:

Can you repeat that please. Grin. So agree being a "more mature" person who listens to the Breeze for cruisy music, not this boom boom garbage!
Took a minute but I just remembered - we are probably not in their age demographic or hearing impaired.

Talking about Boom Boom music. I went nightclubbing for the first time in my life on Saturday night.[xx(][xx(][xx(] Oh how I wish I had taken along my own CD's for them to put on[^] Its was daughter in laws hen night. We went to Danger Danger in Whangarei after a meal in Waipu. Got home at 3.30am and went to work at 1pm.:(:(:( Moral of the story. 'Do Not Start Your Nightclubbing Lifestyle If You Are In Your 50's'

The bootee shook only a couple of times. I do have quite a lot of it to shake. I volunteered to look after the drinks and bags after all. After I shook the bootee 8 cops walked into the club and surrounded the dance floor. By then I was sitting down.:D:D:D
