We have 2 that are not required anymore on account of Mini Dweller passing his restricted test yesterday afternoon. Then he promptly buggered off to see his girlfriend on the other side of town! [:0]
If I had only known I would have had you tape Dr Phil this afternoon and show it to Mini Dweller. Young man, A student, awesome young man was challenged to a car race (it was the first time) and he hit and killed a solo mum in a wheelchair - watched by her two children.
Don't get me wrong - there are plenty of brilliant young kids out there who respect the cost of tyres (burn outs), the stupidity of racing etc but I am personally aware of a young man who epitomised the description of this young man and he too, for the first time, accepted the challenge of a race. It ended badly.
Please talk to him (though no doubt you have already) and tell him his testosterone isn't worth dying for. Now I can sleep easy.
Don't worry Didi, he complains about some drivers on the road about as much as I do! He's already had a scare in someones car not too long ago so I think he was rather shocked into realising how quickly things can go wrong.
