Just read that Charlton Heston died at the age of 84.

He was one of my faves from old movies too, MM - but went off him when he started pushing for the pro-gun lobby in the states

I'd forgotten that. The irony [}].
Lucky for Charlton he died of old age, plenty of victims of the gun culture he supported don't get to do that.
