Hamilton Gardens Coffee Morning - prior notice!

As per another thread on here about chickens and gardening - 10am, Friday 11th April, 2008, coffee morning at the Hamilton Gardens to inspect their permaculture garden, the Wintec Hort Student's kitchen garden (I'll see if I can make sure it's unlocked ) and other points of interest - including of course the cafe by the lake []

My girls get milked late in the morning and late at night.... but don't rearrange anything for me, honest! I never know if I'll have any money from one day to the next. The ute's always running on the smell of an oily rag, luckily it reads red well before it runs out of petrol.

I need an 'orse! A cart would be good too but with the looney tunes on the road I can't say I'd feel too safe going anywhere. Oh yeah.... 'orses need feeding too...... ah well, the way it's going we are all going to revert back to small communities like in the days of old.

The gardens used to be an old tip, when it was closed they started planting and the current director, Peter Seargal, has done a fantastic job working with different ethnic communities to put in theme gardens (Indian, American, Chinese, Russian etc). When I moved here in 1989 it was still quite 'young' but is developing into a mature and beautiful site
